At Christ Community Church we are deeply committed to the view that parents have the primary responsibility for the training of their sons and daughters. We believe that this responsibility does not stop with childhood, but continues through the teenage years. Our teenagers greatest need is to know the saving power of God and to grow as genuine disciples of Jesus Christ. To achieve this our pastors and parents both take an active role in the youth ministry at Christ Community Church.

At our youth meetings, parents play a significant role. We not only encourage parents to attend youth meetings, but we also encourage them to be a vital and active part of all that we do. When our teens have an encounter with God, we want mom or dad to be the ones ministering and praying for their children. This will in turn facilitate opportunities for parents to help their son or daughter apply what they heard at home. The goal of this ministry and the greatest desire of the pastor is to build the teens into their parents and support the parents in the weighty and glorious task of parenting.
